Lou Ferrigno is no ordinary bodybuilder because of his successful Incredible Hulk movies he has probably inspired millions of youngsters to start training with weights. Standing at 6"5' tall and competing at over 285lbs, Lou was FULL of muscle and it was no surprise when he won his first bodybuilding competition he entered winning the Pro Teen Mr. America in 1971 as well as the Teen Mr. America in the same year.

You might be asking yourself how could a teenager manage to put on so much muscle, but you need to know that Lou had been training hard since he was 13 years old. Lou also had the advantage of being guided by expert coaches like Vince Gironda who guided him to the correct way to eat and train.

But Lou was just getting started and although his professional bodybuilding career was relatively short, he went on to win the IFBB Mr. America and the IFBB Mr. Universe winning the overall title in 1973.
